Yesterday evening, I was honored to be a guest on @Mbabulefm101 together with my colleagues @Kwarakunde44411 and @salimmoshzziwa for the official launch of the Ssembabul Marathon edition one which is organized by @Mbabulefm101 in celebration of twenty years of impacting lives scheduled for 6th.August 2026.This event has been created to help bridge critical gaps in the education sector across Sembabule District. All proceeds from the marathon will be directed toward procuring scholastic materials for needy school‑going children in our community. The Ssembabul Marathon is more than a race it is a community‑driven initiative to ensure every child in our district has access to the basic learning tools they need to thrive. By bringing together athletes, families, local businesses, schools, and civic leaders, we aim to mobilize resources, raise awareness about educational needs, and invest directly in the futures of our young learners. We call on everyone , residents of Sembabule, friends from neighboring districts, corporate partners, and well‑wishers to join us on 6th.August. You can take part by running, volunteering, sponsoring, or making a donation. Every contribution, large or small, will be used transparently to purchase textbooks, exercise books, pens, uniforms, and other essential scholastic supplies for students in need.
