For 1400 years, Muslims have tried to force Muhammad into a Bible they already claim is corrupted. One of their biggest attempts is claiming Muhammad is the Comforter or Holy Spirit mentioned in John 16:13.
But the text itself destroys that argument.
In John 14:16-17, Jesus said the Comforter would remain with believers forever, that the world would not see him or know him, but believers would know him because he would dwell with them and be in them.
That cannot describe a human prophet.
Muhammad was seen by people. He lived in one location. He died. No human being can live inside millions of followers or remain with them forever.
Then comes another weak claim: that the original Greek word was Periclytos instead of Parakletos, so it supposedly referred to Muhammad.
That story has no historical evidence behind it.
There are thousands of ancient Greek manuscripts of the Gospel of John, and every single one uses Parakletos, meaning helper, advocate, or comforter. Not one ancient manuscript says Periclytos.
And even if Muslims still insist that verse speaks about Muhammad, they create another problem for themselves. Jesus said HE would send the Comforter.
So by their own argument, Jesus sent Muhammad. That means Jesus is the lord of Muhammed.
