In this day and age it’s easier to point the finger than to actually do the work oneself. I’m guilty at it at times but I also realize i need to work on it as well.

Call it what it is: a kind of soft socialism dressed up as “community concern.” People sit there endlessly talking about what should have been done—with other people’s money. “If only they funded this.” “If only they spent on marketing.” “If only someone stepped in.” Not their money. Not their risk. Not their capital allocation. Always someone else. That is the tell. Because the moment you strip it down, what they are saying is: I am entitled to direct resources I did not earn, did not invest, and did not risk. No—you are not. You do not get to decide how someone else deploys their capital. Not in marketing. Not in infrastructure. Not in development. Not in anything. Capital allocation is not a committee exercise for spectators. It is a function of ownership and risk. From my perspective, it is very simple: If capital had been diverted into marketing years ago, perhaps the price would have been higher in the short term. And the system would not scale. If capital had been spent appeasing sentiment instead of building capability, you would have optics—and no substance. No throughput. No capacity. No foundation. So the trade-off was made. Deliberately. You can disagree with it. You can argue against it. That is fine. But this endless whining about what others “should have done” with their money is not argument—it is resentment. If you believe something different should exist, then fund it. Build it. Execute it. Otherwise, stop pretending that dissatisfaction entitles you to someone else’s capital. It doesn’t. Get over it.
