@AlaskaAir So three spam messages pretending to be Alaska Air, yet nothing from the 24/7 care team? This is a real issue from a real Atmos member.

@AlaskaAir Is it not possible to manually void five figures of pending charges made by one of your agents on my credit card? Seems simple to do rather than make me wait 5 days for them to fall off, as I would think Alaska wouldn't try to borrow against my credit for free?

David Johansen lived a good long life! New York Dolls are mostly remembered through the lens of 1990s CD re-releases of their long out-of-print debut. His solo career was respectable but Buster P. was regularly singing on SNL. Every city soon had a tux-wearing jazz/pop combo.

Buster Poindexter was much bigger than the NY Dolls. In the 1980s, young people wanted to dress up again, learn to dance, go out for cocktails & listen to good music by skilled players. Johansen made up Buster for fun, playing Mondays at Tramps. It's what the kids wanted.

@freeworstideas I am not sure how often the Kyokai offers these delightful photo sessions, but they are pretty customary so my guess is they are held before all of the six yearly tournaments. The rikishi are now in Osaka, so this one was held as a pre-honbasho event there. 🙂

As a prelude to the March tournament, the Kyokai holds a Sekitori Photo Session where fans can have a (darling, darling) portrait of their kids and themselves with star of sumo. As always, some sekitori are more at ease with children. Kotonowaka holds that baby as if it's a muffaletta sandwich.

People are just out here driving with LED headlights so fucking bright they BLIND everyone else on the road. Why are there no regulations about acceptable lumen levels on automobiles? It's mind-boggling! It's a truly dangerous and scary problem and it's getting so much worse.
