@kendallrowanx We were getting results with big Nick up top earlier in the season.

@SelbyBC83 @FtblJoe Not comparing just making the point that normally two, three, or four fouls would normally see a yellow card.
English

I know people will not agree but I think Elanga’s getting better & as much I don’t necessarily rate the lad Osula put in his best performance from the start tonight #nufc
English

@kendallrowanx I don’t think there’s any favouritism, the refs are just s***t.

@psmithy388 @agbnufc_ He could start by leaving him on when he brings on two wingers that will cross the ball
English

@gallowgatenufc1 @AliceTalksFooty Took him off and brought on two wingers to cross the ball. Make that make sense.
English

@AliceTalksFooty He was horrendous today. Game went by him today. I'm not judging him. He is a good player but he's definitely not suited to Howes tactics.

Woltemade hate is so weird and over the top.
Showed his quality when he first arrived and is being misprofiled and forced to play as deep as a DM.
23, moved to a new league, had a great start, then a dip losing some confidence and now everyone acting as if he is trash??
He's not even been Newcastle's worst signing this summer.

#NUFC would have drawn that game comfortably with a competent goalkeeper between the sticks. Positives to take though after a physically difficult week, just another night at the Etihad eh…

@henrywinter Not excusing the fact that Prestianni may or may not have made racist remarks to Vini Jnr but players cover their mouths week in week out when speaking with other players.
English

Uefa has to investigate exactly what was said to Vinicius Jr during Real Madrid’s game with Benfica. And why Gianluca Prestianni felt the need to cover his mouth. It’s a disputed “he said, they misheard” situation and Uefa has to listen to both sides. But three things are very clear...
1. The anger of Vinicius and his Real team-mates. Trent Alexander-Arnold told Amazon Prime that what happened was “a disgrace to football”.
2. It’s irrelevant that Benfica found Vinicius’ goal celebration “disrespectful”. He’s allowed to dance by the corner-flag. Some of the most iconic goal celebrations have come that way. It was a great goal and an important one. The ref deemed the celebration over the top, and controversially booked him, but nothing justifies the alleged response that Vinicius claims was then directed at him.
3. Uefa’s record on clamping down on racism is not the strongest. A fine here, a short ban or a game behind closed doors there. If it is proved that Prestianni directed a racist comment at Vinicius - an allegation he denies - the punishment has to be a lengthy ban and a re-education course. Only by applying appropriate sanctions, meaningful sanctions for a societal curse manifesting itself in football, can Uefa show it is serious about its “No To Racism” message. #kickitout

@talkSPORT He signed to get a pay raise BUT it probably had a transfer fee clause in it. He’ll leave in a year or 2 if he continues good form
English

@CraigHope_DM Sure a penalty got overturned in a similar situation a few weeks back in another game.
No consistency with these refs.
English

🚨 Leicester will consider an appeal but this punishment could have been much, much worse
Premier League understood to have been pushing for a 20-point deduction for various aggravated breaches

@markgoldbridge Since when did VAR give freekicks, ref gave the foul for the trip, if there was no trip then it was a goal kick

@NUFC_Oscar86_ Our centre forwards always seem isolated with no support around them.

Was a massive fan of the Wissa signing when we done it, he’s literally done nothing since then. He might go down as one of the worst signing we’ve made in a long long time. Just not the player he was at Brentford. #nufc
