In my opinion ... I thought it was interesting and perhaps telling that Savannah, on her return to the show when she was about to start the news, said: "It is good to be home" ... not "It's good to be back" ... like it was a statement that she was distancing herself from Tucson.

Nancy Guthrie Consider this- Why go to 2 local Tucson media stations the day after the abduction with ransom demands? Then, when the stations don't announce emails to the press, why go to TMZ (1.5 million reach daily)? Why go to the media at all with No Proof of Life? Only 1 answer. Public Humiliation. The people who took Nancy knew they would not get paid $6 Million with no proof of life. They knew the FBI would tell the Guthries not to pay with no proof of life. So basically, by going to the press with the demand and forcing the family to address the notes publicly, the public knows Savannah is worth $40 Million, but was not willing to pay even though Savannah believed the notes were real. We see the public backlash from the Guthrie family decision. People say why didn't Savannah pay if she knew the notes were "real"? It was the right decision because Nancy was likely deceased. It wasn't enough that Porch Guy took her mom, they wanted her to receive public backlash too. @CoffindafferFBI I don’t think the Guthrie family cares at ALL about public perception. I’m the public my opinion is ashamed of them. If they cared, they’d appoint a spokesperson or do a real interview. They’d thank streamers for keeping their mother’s name in the world.

@godblessme1180 No traffic is currently being disrupted though. I realize that did for a couple weeks. But most have left and now there is often no one there. Other times only 1 person is there and the neighbors met him. Also the way the houses are they prob can’t even see them.

Nancy Guthrie ! The neighbourhood very quite now ! The new rules for the street is zero stopping at all ,, a under cover sheriff told a You Tuber outside Nancys home 🏡, not even near the flowers memorial,, or anyone will get a ticket ! My guess is the family don’t want to be videoed or followed down the road again, and have used their connections with the board and Sheriff ! Now I know many want agree with me.. and that’s fine ! I do sympathise with the neighbours, it’s been a long time they’ve been patient having paparazzi ..main stream media everybody YouTube streamers ,, outside the properties we all saw in the beginning it was like a circus. 🎪 It was crazy school buses couldn’t pass trash carts couldn’t pass properly! I also believe that the neighbours especially the ones that knew Nancy need time to heal mentally they need that piece. I believe there’s many that haven’t come out and voiced how they really feel for fear of reprisal.! I only put myself in their shoes and I’ll be honest. I had some traffic temporary lights outside my house the other day road works ,, and it drove me crazy. The noise so awkward for me to get my parcels delivered plus the traffic . It was awful and that was only two weeks so I can imagine two months! Of course we need Nancy‘s story to be kept in the media. I don’t believe it will go away, especially because of Savannah high profile in the media. Of course this is only my opinion and people can disagree respectfully .. but I will say anybody disagrees disrespectfully I will delete the comment, as we are all adults !
