Artemis II just dropped a new picture of Earth (Left). Hey @grok why do all these images of planet Earth from NASA all look entirely different? Please explain it to me like I’m five years old.

@SaltyGoat17 You’re also the only retards in the whole alliance who continually insert yourselves in other countries’ business, wage wars and make enemies for no reason. NATO only needs to exist at all because the US causes for itself and its allies.

@MikeTheNavyGuy1 More accurately, the feds killed an entirely privately funded pipeline then disastrously spent 7x its initial budget in taxpayer money to get it back.

@gator_gum Deal. Of course, it won’t happen, because libtards won’t allow a pipeline to be built. You are the only ones standing in the way of what you’re describing.

Hot take: Let's build the pipeline and the high-speed rail. Everyone is happy. Conservatives have told us how hugely profitable the pipeline will be, so, the rail is easily funded. Let's build them both. Let's start right now.

@Jvnior 1. They can't prosecute them in the current setting of the World, as it would collapse it. 2. Their names in Epstein's emails are not enough in the court to prove the guilt. If you think, you can repair the World during one generation, then you are naive.

@TheChaosWeeber The blue line has another big problem, it cuts through the part of Frontenac park that has lots of lakes and rivers. If a train were to pass there, lots of bridges would have to be built adding extra costs. The red line is cheaper and serves way more people

@TheChaosWeeber Maybe if Trudeau didn’t blow $13B on overseas gender programs we’d have the money to build some …

hey Canada, notice how many 3rd world countries have high speed rail. FFS we're beating beaten by Morocco, Turkey, China, Uzbekistan, Indonesia etc. and Algeria, India, Iran, and Egypt all have plans to build HSR. You really are ok with canada falling THAT far behind?

Calgary lost Tkachuk/Gaudreau in 2022, it’s not 2026 and their best young piece is Zayne Parekh. Van started their rebuild in Dec 2025 and already has a better young piece in Zeev. Imagine taking victory laps about guys like Matt Coronado in year 4 of a rebuild 😭
Mike Gould@miketgould

The difference is that the Canucks were already really bad pretty much every year they had Hughes. They only made the playoffs twice when they had him, whereas the Flames have had farther to fall. Now, we're here, and Calgary has a significantly better pool of future assets.

@59years_of_gray If they're entirely private, how does that help us? Why should private companies get rich off resources that belong to Canada?

So, building high speed rail is "the west subsidizing" the east.... But, building a pipe line isn't the opposite? Also, this isn't remotely how taxation works. We don't pay "per person" for projects.
Paul Mitchell@PaulMitchell_AB

Ottawa wants to spend $90 Billion on high-speed rail between Toronto and Quebec City. That's $4000 out of the pocket of every Canadian taxpayer to fund something that 99% will never use. As usual, Western Canadians will be paying to subsidize Ontario and Quebec. Insanity.

@JeffreyLuscombe Wasting $90B on it while people can’t find doctors or work or afford food or housing is what gets Conservatives’ blood boiling. Though you don’t care about any of that, do you? This could be structured as a PPP and make way more sense. It’s not some righteous infallible plan.
