The real surprise is the chicken breast—remarkably tender, clearly the result of careful, low-temperature cooking done with patience. There are plenty of seasonings on the table for changing the flavor, and if you ask, they’ll even bring you lemon for a clean, bright finish. You know drinking all the soup isn’t good for you. Even so, I finished every last drop—and found myself wishing there had been more.
