If you have not tried this yet all I can say is WOW. In over 9 years of crypto I've never had such a pleasant, painless, low fee offramp experience EVER. I am getting absolutely nothing for saying this just trust me, try it and thank me later. Instantly withdrew USDC sent from my Solana address into my EURO bank account within 2 minutes end to end. Incredible job @nativemarkets 👏

This is the story of Hyperliquid, the most profitable startup per employee on earth, told from a guarded office in Singapore. Last year, its team of 11 generated $900 million in profit. It's 3 years old, has never taken a dollar of venture capital, and is beginning to change how century-old markets work. Its founder, Jeffrey Yan (@chameleon_jeff), had never taken a physics class when he picked up a textbook at 16. Two years later, he won gold at the International Physics Olympiad. In 2019, he started trading with $10,000 from a living room in Puerto Rico—working off a television because he didn't own a monitor. Within 3 years, he was running one of the largest anonymous crypto trading firms. Then he shut it down. Yan was rich and free, but he had spent years inside crypto, watching it betray itself. Bitcoin's central premise was decentralization. Yet the biggest exchanges were centralized. Crypto kept reintroducing the dependence on trust it was built to eliminate. He set out to create what should have existed. Hyperliquid is a blockchain with a trading exchange on top, and anyone can build on it. Yan's vision is to house all of finance. In 3 years, it has done over $4 trillion in volume. And in the past few months, it has begun to outgrow crypto. Markets for oil, silver, and the S&P 500 now trade on Hyperliquid around the clock, weekends included, and are growing roughly 40% week on week. When the US and Israel bombed Iran on a Saturday in February, Hyperliquid was the venue traders turned to. Hyperliquid's success has cost Yan his freedom. He works out of a secret office in Singapore and cannot travel without two bodyguards. Even the team's housekeeper doesn't know what they do. In January, @domcooke spent a week at their office. Read his profile on Yan and @HyperliquidX below.

Its nothing, Global day trader distribution APAC: ~33% USA: ~16% Europe: ~16% Others (Africa, Middle East, etc.): remaining share Now what about the value traded: Annual / total activity (rough scale) Europe: ~$2.6 trillion North America (mostly US): ~$2.2 trillion APAC: ~$2.36 trillion (fastest growing) And those in USA also use KYC to use Hyperliquid, so this doesn’t make Lighter any better than Hyperliquid, though i like both them, if i were to pick 1, i will pick $HYPE

Why does everyone get so hyped about Lighter when there is basically no structural difference from Hyperliquid outside of zero fees I still believe the only possible true contender is a platform that somehow innovates at the risk level regarding onchain exchange

Trade.XYZ is an external team building on Hyperliquid, yet they now contribute ~30% of Hyperliquid's total volume while it has basically zero marginal cost for Hyperliquid. This wouldn’t be possible if Hyperliquid was just a perpetual exchange. But it is because Hyperliquid is a blockchain aiming to house all of finance.

Jeff probably has over a standard deviation of IQ on me and I like hyperliquid but have we learned from the last cycle with these puff pieces about casually dressed guys with quirky personalities running exchanges?

𝕏 has always been the best source of financial news for traders and investors. Billions of dollars are allocated every day based on what people read on Timeline. Today we're launching our new Cashtags feature in the US and Canada on iPhone, bringing real-time financial data to X. Here's how it works: 1. When you search for or post a cashtag (or contract address), X will automatically suggest matching stocks or crypto tokens, so you can select the exact asset you had in mind. 2. Anyone who taps a Cashtag will see posts mentioning it along with its price chart—without ever leaving X. This ensures that you're always matched to the chatter for the right stock or token. Cashtags are just the first step in our commitment to be the best destination for the finance and crypto community.

i'm ngl, if you're buying this what's your long term thesis? besides the chart looking horrendous what's the bullcase? money can buy institutional buy in so it's not exclusive to solana, trench issues aren't solved and extraction will continue, and there seems to be no strong narrative
