I'm a chef. I 'created' a Soup du Jour starter for our menu that goes out at 7.95. It's a can of Heinz + an oxo cube + shit loads of water + cornflour + salt. I stick a basil leaf on it to make it look well posh. 1 can serves about 12. 3 for £2 in Tesco.
