@AnthonySabatini I commented to someone tonight that it would get worse before it got better. I corrected myself though and added: “It’s probably not going to get better, is it?”

You're on the team. You are now with Jared and Witkoff. You go to Iran to negotiate. They say they have tens of thousands of drones and missiles they're going to shoot and they think they'll win. They tell you they have enough material for 10+ nuclear weapons. They intend to use them on both regional enemies and the US mainland. No matter what deal you offer them, no matter how good they tell you to fuck off. They want an apocalyptic war in order to usher in their Messiah(what they believe). What's the plan smartass? Just get nuked? Have thousands of ballistic missiles rain down on allies? Also America is being paid trillions of dollars to carry out this operation. Should we give this back to the gulf states so they can give it to China?
Matt Walsh@MattWalshBlog

Some of us expressed great concern about the Iran War when it was first launched. We were shouted down and condemned as “panicans” and “blackpillers” and even Islamist sympathizers. But it’s pretty clear from how things have gone that our concerns were absolutely reasonable and legitimate. Maybe Trump will get us out of this thing soon and it still won’t spiral into a long and drawn out war. But even if that happens — and I’m not convinced it will — no thoughtful person can deny at this point that the spiral and long war scenario is very much a possibility. No reasonable person, at this stage, can say that our concerns were irrational. What looks irrational now — and always did — is the demand for blind allegiance and unthinking “trust” in our elected leaders, as though we are called to have faith in politicians like we have faith in God.

“Will Trump prevail in Iran or will this war be his downfall?” It could easily be both. Iran has been at war with the United States and all its neighbors since 1979. It has spawned murders and atrocities and its fanatical leadership has sought — and found — means of overwhelming the defenses of other nations. Not just nukes, but icbms and drones, which it aims at military and nonmilitary targets indiscriminately. The only way to find out a threat was imminent is to suffer the consequences of not acting preemptively. Somebody had to neutralize the Iranian threat, and the only nation with the power to do it is the US, and the only leader with the wisdom and the spine to do it is Trump. If Trump succeeds, his fanatical enemies in the US, who support causes every bit as insane as Iran's, will claim that the destruction of Iran's evil government was not “necessary,” because, see? They didn't have nukes. So just as the leaders of France and the UK would have been ousted if they had crushed Hitler back when it could have been done almost bloodlessly, and completely legally under the terms of the Versailles treaty, Trump will never be able to prove what “would have happened,” and his enemies, who have proven their contempt for law and their desire to create a permanent one-party state, will probably succeed in their aims. They will control the history-writing — they already control most of the press and universities — and so the fact that Trump preemptively saved the world from an evil warmongering state will be flipped on its head, and HE will be declared the evil warmonger. But if the attempt to suppress Iran fails, which will probably be the case if Trump does not deploy troops to break the back of the Iranian regime on the ground, the consequences will be so dire that again, Trump will be blamed for having “provoked” Iran with a “needless” war. So unless the American electorate behaves with unexpected wisdom, this attack is probably the most necessary and self-destructive act of Trump's administration. Necessary, because the fools who governed us from 2009-2017 and 2021-2025 did nothing but appease Iran's tyrants and enable them to oppress their own population while causing or abetting the worst state and nonstate actors in the world. Trump's successors, even if they have the will, will not have the power to destroy America's worst antagonists. The moment of possibility is now, Trump has taken it, and no matter how it turns out, it will be the weapon his fanatical, anti-democratic enemies use to destroy him.

UPDATE: IRAN NEGOTIATOR WAS NOT ASSASSINATED Iranian sources are refuting claims that Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf, Trump's Go To negotiator, was assassinated I can finally breathe a sigh of relief, as it's already been a rough night: The Houthis joining, Israel bombing a major Iranian water source, Iran threatening American universities in the Middle East, heavy attacks on the Gulf, and strong Iranian retaliation against the strikes on their 3 biggest steel plants The killing of Iran's negotiator would have been the nail in the coffin for any early end to the war. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be true

Guys, I really hope this news is not true I cannot begin to explain how significant it is if this is true The killing of Iran's lead negotiator, the one that the U.S allegedly offered security guarantees, means this war is not ending anytime soon, and will be significantly escalating And it would likely mean Israel just sabotaged Trump's peace efforts Let's all hope this news is false, for the sake of everbody involved There is no way Israel would do this. Even they have limits they cannot cross, otherwise I will be questioning many things I thought I knew about Israeli U.S. relations

Let me give you some context as to why Ukraine as become a critical player in the US war in Iran Iran currently has three paths to winning this war and they are all based on imposing great political costs onto the US And to be clear, winning only means that the regime survives. They are not winning anything militarily and even if the US withdraws now the damage inflicted on their military, arms industrial complex and nuclear program that can still be considered a win The first is being able to inflict casualties on the US military...that is not happening so far and it is unlikely that any boots on the ground would extend beyond the islands in the strait to the mainland. So right now Iran in not able to do this The second two have to do with "burning it all down" meaning they will try to inflict as much pain on the world in order to try to pressure the US to cease military actions And there are two principle ways to achieve this 1) Closing the Strait of Hormuz is already being done, but I am fairly confident that the US and it's allies has the means to reopen the strait militarily and that's what the marines and other ground forces will be a part of 2) Destroying gulf energy/critical infrastructure because this represents significant long term pain for the region and the world. This infrastructure does not get repaired in month, but rather years. And think past just energy...think desalinization plants which would cause a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions in the gulf. The primary threat here are drones because missiles are already limited and they have no way to make more. Right now they are rationing them but it's not clear that they even have enough to cause significant widescale damage. The real problem is the drones which are cheap and plentiful and can be resupplied by Russia and China. Over a long enough timeline, these drones are difficult to deal with because current anti-drone interceptors are very expensive, limited in quantity and hard to replace. And here is where the Ukrainians come into play because they've been dealing with these Shahed drones for over four years. And faced with this same challenge, they have developed their own technical solution in terms of cheap drone interceptors working within an integrated detection system. Deployed all over the Middle East and once these layered defense scale, this becomes a game changer in terms of Iran's ability to go scorched earth and burn it all down Once you can deny Iran this last option in terms of being able to inflict heavy political costs on the US, the regime has very limited options to escalate So fittingly enough, by being a bunch of evil twats and providing Russia with drones that have terrorized Ukrainians for years...they've possibly engineered their own demise If you liked this analysis, think you learned something, and want to see more, please like and RT!
Gummi@gummibear737

Don’t sleep on the importance of Ukraine bringing their cheap and effective anti-drone technology to the Gulf It would be a fitting irony if Iran’s decision to arm Russia with their Shahed drones ultimately led to the development of countermeasures that now seel their own fate

The emcee at the No Kings rally in Minnesota, Lizz Winstead, says the quiet part out loud, reminding everyone that the so-called “No Kings” movement is a communist movement. "I want people to know that if you want to act like Minnesota, or you think Minnesota is a model, what can I do? Well, you can check your ego about what you want to do and listen to the leadership, and when they tell you what they need done, you do that. And you pay enough attention to the amazing organizers who have been on the ground, who actually have the information, who have already done the work, instead of starting your own [group]... you need to be the pack mule."

Sadly, in Japan, the traditional spring custom of gathering under blooming cherry blossom trees—hanami, where people share food, drinks, and appreciate the fleeting beauty of the season—is being replaced by group prayers by Muslims. Japanese conservatives are growing disillusioned. Support for Prime Minister Takaichi remains—but it is no longer unconditional. It is time for her to fulfill her promise to protect national security and stability.

The more Joe Kent speaks publicly The more obvious he should never have held a senior position in our IC On Charlie Kirk Kent: "people could have had preknowledge" Piers on foreign involvement: "any clarity" Kent "more work needed on the investigation" So...ZERO evidence His whole tour of Podcastistan has simply shown he is gullible about unfounded conspiracies. And is a Blame Israel-ist of the first and worst order. He has blamed Israel for both the current War on Iran, which Trump has been contemplating for a decade plus. And the Iraq War which Dick Cheney would be quite surprised to hear. Fortunately Kent has burnt any good will and the last shreds of his credibility with this and he will soon be just another fringe conspiracy theorist.
