Because I've: -Hired 100+ editors -Reviewed 5,000 applications -Paid $120,000 in trials + referrals (Hint: Last bullet is KEY) Okay. The process is simple: 1. Screen 2. Test 3. Trial ~~ 1. SCREEN Want the best editors? Guess what...they got jobs. So you need an easy application they can do on their lunch break. I've made the mistake of requiring an 4-hour test to apply. DON'T BE ME. Just ask for a portfolio...that's all you need. 2. TEST Give a 4-hour paid test to editors with"WOW" portfolios. Include an example as inspiration.
