Walking through those grounds—seeing the gas chambers, the piles of shoes, eyeglasses, and personal belongings—left a profound and lasting impact on me. It was a visceral reminder of human’s capacity for evil, and of our duty to confront such hatred and darkness. We must ensure “Never Again” is not just words, but a guiding principle.
CBS: Trump had been told the ceasefire would apply to the Middle East, and he agreed it included Lebanon. Mediators, Iran's foreign minister, and Pakistan's Prime Minister also believed it did. The US position reportedly shifted after a call between Netanyahu and Trump.
The last few weeks have been mentally draining as an Iranian who hates the Islamic Republic and wants them out, but who also hates war, or the idea of a prolonged war that will hurt the iranian people. If I post that I am against a prolonged war, I am told that I'm a traitor, that I wished this on my people and get called 100 different names. If I post that I want the Regime out, I am told that I'm bending the knee to Trump, that I am a war mongerer and also get called 100 different names. There is no winning on social media, there has never been, but what I find shockin is the inability for people to have more balanced opinions. Not everything is all or nothing. Do I think this war is for the liberation of the Iranian people? Absolutely not, it's business as usual. Do I think that the current Regime in Iran is good? Absolutely not, they are terrorists who murder their own people for protesting, and they need to be taken out. At the end of the day I care about one thing and one thing only and that's for the liberation of my people. Since people don't read on X, here's a video of my thoughts.

You have no clue what our people are actually living through. You are out here clutching your pearls over the words “stone age” while our people are literally stuck in one, total internet blackout, no connection for over a month. I haven’t even seen my family’s faces in weeks. Meanwhile you sit with unlimited internet, lecturing us because a desperate nation is fighting for the freedom you were born with. They’ve already spilled blood for it, and now they’re welcoming bombs on the people trying to kill them. All you want is to talk over us and shut our voices down. And guess what? You did it, Dave. I’m too exhausted to even argue back. Congrats. You successfully spoke over an entire population that can’t even log on to respond. While the ones cheering you on are the regime-approved accounts who actually get internet access to push their narrative. What an accomplishment.
Has a single person who advocated that the US overthrow the Iranian regime to “liberate” the people, jumped off board since Trump declared total war against the civilian population? If you’re ok with “stone age” I’m starting to suspect it was never about liberating the people.
