Wolves beat Houston in a massive OT game despite Scott Foster’s best efforts. A true sign of a great team. Not even Scott could hold them down! A win is a win, and that’s a huge W. “We’re built for the moment,” says Julius Randle. “We took care of business.”

Big game tonight!

Julius Randle is a steal machine tonight at Target Center. 4 steals in the first vs. Jazz, leading to a bunch of transition offense. He’s crushing it early on. 13p/4a/4s.

Big W for the Wolves over Phoenix. They really needed a win like this with Ant being out. So many strong performances down the roster. A BIG Bones game, Naz and SloMo were great too, Rudy responded big-time, Julius carried the offense, Ayo and Jaden both showed up in a large way.

Ant has looked banged up for a while now and has played through a lot of wear/tear this season, so while it's bad timing with Suns only 2 games back (play-in) it could help spark others. Ant needs to be healthy in the playoffs, not hobble and grind through heavy mid-March minutes

So, Anthony Edwards is going to miss 1-2 weeks with right knee inflammation (he's extremely tough so you know it must really be bothersome) as the Wolves are slipping in the West and play a huge game vs. PHX Rest of March: UTA, POR, BOS, HOU, DET, DAL Ayo trade even more vital.

@GregR_at_LEX Yet he played a game-high 37 minutes when he looks like he needs rest.

Julius Randle’s best game in a while coincides with Rudy/Jaden’s worst and Wolves have ultimately been doomed by the *constant* turnovers (24) and bad d-rebounding (14 OKC oreb). You’re not winning many games with 17 more turnovers and they were coughing it up from the jump.

@YessirskiHowl He’s had two other duds this season as bad as this, but certainly not way worse than 2 points, 2 TOs, 0 stocks, -17 in a very important game.

Wolves up 53-47 @ OKC. First half notes: - Ayo was a rockstar, energy/pace/3s/D - Julius got his groove back, carried O - 12-2 turnovers in favor of OKC - SGA 2-10 with 4 PTS - Held Thunder to 32 FG% - Ant battling through bumps & bruises - Jaden with 3 fouls but gave AYO opp!

Ayo Dosunmu sideline interview: “We gotta clean it up. I think we need to bring more of a pace. The possessions we were able to get out, up & down the floor, & get good shots, we were able to score. We gotta take care of the ball. They’re a handsy team so we gotta correct that.”

Ayo was easily the best Wolf in the first. Giving them a lot of life. He needs heavy minutes today. It’s a one point game after one, despite 7-1 turnovers. OKC missing a lot of shots. But can’t keep handing them free possessions.

So many unforced turnovers during this Wolves losing streak. Consistently throwing possessions away—they have to share the rock and take care of it way way way better.
