On the 29th of April, I underwent life changing open heart surgery to have my Aortic valve and ascending part of my aorta replaced.
Ultimately, after numerous chats with specialists, I have no choice but to retire from playing football due to the seriousness of the surgery 1/2

We’ve had some really sad news today, as @krisstoffer has passed away after he was taken ill in September. He was a great football man, who supported Rovers, @GCAFCofficial, @LFC & many other clubs with a passion.
He loved football & was a very kind person.
