@IrishEVs Cheaper charging at home. Away from home, EVs are generally on par with ICE in terms of km per €. Sometimes it’s more expensive. Eg. I charged our EV last week for €16.73 to gain 100km range. Same cost would give >190km range in our diesel and 127km in our 3.0-litre petrol car.

@clearofcloud Cracked wheels were the only issue we had, and we clocked up more than a million km between all six. I’d be looking for main dealer or specialist service history. How much was that one going for?

@murphfleiger Reassuring that they've been reliable. Wasn't sure about replacing the Civic, which has been amazing but was genuinely disappointed to miss this particular one. Same age but 70k less that the Civic

@clearofcloud Nice spec. We’ve had five or six of them from new in the past in various specs and engine sizes. Put huge mileage on each and they never gave trouble. Right wheels on that one pictured for rubbish Irish roads… the bigger ones crack, especially with run-flats.

@murphfleiger The one everyone gets 320D. Spec was great though... non-M suspension for rural driving, full length moon roof, cream leather and a distinctive color.

@SouthernFairy16 Plenty of ex-military flying suits relatively cheap on eBay. Some UK airshow traders usually have a selection of ex-mil nomex suits or basic cotton flying coveralls.

@starree It’s a really great aircraft. Amazing performance, with the added bonus that it’s pretty straightforward to fly. Specialist maintenance and parts is really the only downside to ownership.
