Why does the term “war crimes” only get thrown at Western countries? Iran has been exclusively launching cluster munitions at civilians in Israel and no media outlet seems to be saying “war crime.” Weird.

Just off the bat, the wreckage isn't close enough together to indicate a collision. The aircraft also aren't angled in a way that suggests a collision, as the trailing aircraft is to the side of the lead aircraft and not behind it. If your theory is that the trailing aircraft hit the lead aircraft which had landed and was holding on the runway, why is the lead aircraft angled 45 degrees away? If the collision was severe enough to punt the lead aircraft that far askew, the wreckage of both aircraft would have been basically intertwined. While the runway might have been gravel, there was no apron. What likely happened is that aircraft had to go onto the shoulder of the runway to turn around, where the lead aircraft got stuck. Trailing aircraft had to hit the brakes.

🇺🇸 𝗖𝗦𝗔𝗥 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 Corrected composite image and infographic of the site where two USAF MC-130J Commando II aircraft and at least two AH/MH-6 Little Bird helicopters were scuttled in Isfahan province, Iran. The working theory: both MC-130Js, carrying elements of the 160th SOAR, landed on a gravel strip to rescue and exfiltrate the F-15E WSO. The first aircraft landed and held position. The second overshot the landing zone and collided with the stationary aircraft, disabling both. Why is it a collision? 1) The landing surface is gravel, not mud. Neither aircraft got stuck. and if one overshot and got stuck, why did the second plane drive off as well? 2) You would not park two MC-130Js in this configuration. One disabled aircraft would block the other's egress. 3) A ground-level photograph confirms both aircraft in close proximity at convergent headings before the fire, ruling out the proximity as a result of the destruction. 4) There are two aircraft on a runway 10' apart from each other and both were scuttled. Both were not stuck in the mud and both did not suffer simultaneous mechanical failures. #OSINT #Iran #OperationEpicFury

@notrustle @LokiJulianus Israel & US assets across the region have been bombed daily for the last month, from a country 1/4 the size & under embargo/sanctions for decades since they ousted the USrael-installed puppet regime. So are you getting pummeled by a non-actual military? x.com/ThomasBordeaux…

A new satellite image confirms that a US AN/TPY-2 radar was damaged at a Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. The radar, which was struck on March 1st, is a crucial piece of equipment for the US’s THAAD missile interception system. cnn.com/2026/04/02/wor… Image: Airbus

Endangering in-country assets is a legitimate concern, but it could just as easily be disinformation to waste Iranian time. At least some of the info like the use of pilot PLBs is public knowledge, although not widely advertised. These details being revealed also may not present actionable opportunity to Iran- who may simply not have the ELINT to detect a tiny transmission through US EWAR. As far as future scenarios, landing C-130s with MH-6s is probably a one-and-done and Iran is already going to have a fairly clear picture of aircraft movement.

If you can't articulate why I'm wrong, then you're just projecting your own lack of critical thinking skills. Just another pathetic Iranian shill in damage control mode. The US can land troops in Iran, have them run around for 12 hours, and then extract them safely. That's the fact of the matter. This week it was a downed pilot. Next week it could be a nuclear scientist.

@calmdownf1rst @AlexLuck9 They most likely don't see it as a win at all. They are trying to frame it as a win by talking about destroyed aircraft to drown out the fact that the US just landed troops in Iran, completed their objective, and successfully exfiltrated.

@AlexLuck9 and what do you gain by eating the cookies? Iran shot down a plane. then (stuck in sand or damaged by iran) lost multiple other aircraft in the process of rescuing the operators of that plane. I can see why they see it as a win, America lost a lot of resources what did they?

US troops could parachute right into Tehran, film themselves eating all the cookies in the kitchen cupboard of whoever happens to be Supreme Leader at that point in time, and Iranian accounts would consider it an American defeat because they left behind all the filming equipment.

🇮🇷🔥 Abu Azrael, "The Angel of Death," has arrived in Tehran. Real name Ayoub Falih Hassan al-Rubaie, born 1978 in Iraq. Former university lecturer, one-time Taekwondo champion, and father of five. He first took up arms with the Mahdi Army against US forces during the 2003 invasion, then became one of the most feared commanders against ISIS in Syria and Iraq as part of the Popular Mobilization Forces. He's now in Tehran coordinating with the IRGC on plans for a potential US ground invasion. The man who fought the Americans in Iraq is back, and ready to do it again. On a basic level, Iran completely failed to seize what would have been an immense propaganda victory. The could have trot out a captured American in front of Iranian TV as a symbol of victory against American and Zionist imperialism. Instead, Iran gets some burnt down C-130s and MH-6s that for all we know might have been written off from the start of the operation as the cost of getting the pilot out of the mountains. From an analytic perspective, their failure totally collapses any narrative that Iran is "holding back" or that it's some impregnable fortress. Why didn't they send the big scary drone swarm we've been hearing about for the last 5 years at these C-130s that were apparently just sitting in the open on Iranian soil? Where was the mythic IRGC? US troops landed only 30mi from an Isfahan- a hub for both nuclear development and missile and aerospace production. Either 1) Iran isn't coordinated or flexible enough to actually react, 2) Iran doesn't have the actual ability to push through US air superiority, 3) Iran couldn't spare the manpower or munitions to interfere and simply sat it out. None of these reflect well on Iranian capabilities. Moreover, we now know the US can land troops in Iran, complete a mission, and extract them on short notice with little planning, sacrificing only aircraft. It begs the question what US SOCOM could do on Iranian soil with even a little more planning. So yes, abject failure.

@EveryManPrepper @rdd147 We know where they ejected? It seems much more likely that they simply ejected further south than where they were hit (which itself may be further south than presumed). Even if we assume a moderate speed of 700mph, 2 minutes of flying is over 20mi.

The "leave no man behind" doctrine is actually a strategic weakness disguised as a virtue. Name one other military on earth that destroys 6 aircraft and fights a ground battle inside a sovereign nation to recover one pilot. You can't. Because no other military confuses tactical sentimentality with strategic logic. Soldiers serve the mission. The mission doesn't serve the soldier. The US has now established that Iran can shoot down an F-15, then watch America spend $300M and expose Delta Force trying to prove it didn't happen. That's not military doctrine. That's politics with weapons. A military that cannot accept the risk of loss cannot win wars. The US hasn't won one since 1945.
