Nobody is actually learning anything new anymore.
Why bother trying to understand how things work when you can just ask AI to give you the answer? Everyone around is getting so lazy. The response to any difficult task now is just: why should I learn this if I can just prompt it?
People are completely giving up on their own brains and they're actually proud of it. And honestly, it just makes me sad to watch.

@Thebiglade Understanding you can be so much more but not taking any actions

Separate pain from suffering and the question dissolves.
Pain is structural. The brain's pleasure-pain balance and the fact that nothing means anything without contrast both guarantee friction. A life with no loss is a life where nothing matters.
Suffering is the story you wrap around the pain. The clinging, the "this shouldn't be happening," the identifying with it. That part is optional, and every contemplative tradition points at the same lever to reduce it.
So: existence requires that things can hurt. It doesn't require that you suffer over them.

For example, when choosing which movie to watch or what book to read, are you drawn to proven classics or the newest big thing? In my opinion, it is smarter to choose the great over the new. #principleoftheday

@DeepPsycho_HQ A human cant choose their beliefs, if your arguments are convincing enough for a person they will believe it.
Imagine a guy aiming to your mother with a gun and asking you to believe that hes Jesus so he wont shot her, you wont ever believe it you can just lie

We already know the truth from our ancestors pretty much but this is an example how bad humans stand uncertainty.
But im actually amazed that humans can actually figure some of the things out by science as well.
Science seems to be a philosophy of the current era.

Science is not a process, a credential, or an institution. It is the unflinching pursuit of truth, carried out by the few, co-opted by the many.
