Modern men are just too emotionally weak. You give birth to a female child that can't help you further your lineage and the next thing you do is do a video shoot. What exactly are you celebrating? A girl child who'll most likely sleep around if you fail to give her the lifestyle she wants when she grows up. A girl child 100 times more likely to bring disgrace to your family than the male child. A girl child who after decades of sacrifices will end up continuing another man's lineage and with no male child to carry your surname, your lineage ends with you. What he fails to understand is that he's practically childless until his wife gives him a male child. What a shame!

IGP TUNJI DISU ORDERS NATIONWIDE ARMS AND AMMUNITION AUDIT ACROSS ALL POLICE COMMANDS The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc (+), NPM, has directed all Commissioners of Police nationwide to immediately commence a comprehensive audit of arms and ammunition within their respective Commands and formations. The directive was issued during the Emergency Conference with Commissioners of Police and members of the press held at the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Peacekeeping Centre, Force Headquarters, Abuja.  According to the Inspector-General, the audit exercise is aimed at strengthening accountability, identifying operational gaps, preventing misuse of Police assets, and enhancing the overall operational readiness of the Nigeria Police Force. The IGP emphasized that the exercise is not a routine administrative procedure, but a critical institutional measure designed to ensure that all arms and ammunition entrusted to the Force are properly documented, secured, and optimally deployed in line with operational standards and national security objectives.  Commissioners of Police have been directed to ensure that the audit process is thorough, transparent, and professionally documented, with detailed reports to be submitted to the Force Headquarters within the stipulated timeframe. The Inspector-General reiterated the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to institutional reforms anchored on accountability, professionalism, transparency, and effective internal control systems. The Nigeria Police Force assures Nigerians that ongoing reforms under the current leadership are focused on building a more disciplined, efficient, and accountable institution capable of effectively responding to contemporary security challenges.   DCP ANTHONY OKON PLACID, psc(+), mnipr, mni

Enugu has light problem Only few areas in Enugu has steady light Some of the roads are very bad There’s no water in Enugu Every flat literally have their fetcher to draw water from wells which eventually dry up in dry season. The first culture shock you will experience when you come to Enugu is having tankers sell water to you every month.

Those in livestock farming know that the pig is the only animal in the farm that does not work. All it does is eat and sleep all for free. The pigs look at the farmer and thinks, “This farmer loves me so much. I get to eat all these free food” But what the pig doesn’t know is that there’s nothing like free food. The food is to fatten the pig so that the day the pig gets to its fattest point is the day it dies This is the same way finance companies treat you when they are offering you credit and loans you didn’t ask for. The endless cycle of interests can sink you. I am in the system. I should know this. Be wise.

If you're poor or struggling, you can't afford to postion yourself like the rich. Rich people can decide to stay anonymous because they want to restrict access. If you need help and you're anonymous, put youref out there. People cannot trust you, cannot trust your identity and cannot trust your claim if you're anonymous

One day, i will write about the REAL danger of masturbation and addiction to porn. The danger doesn’t lie in tbe physical at all. It all lies in the hereafter. After you pass on from this earth. Till then, you would actually feel little or no consequence. This is what makes it deadly.
Dr. Chinonso Egemba@aproko_doctor

NO, masturbation won't make you infertile. People have been using that misinformation for years. OUR body simply doesn't work like that. However, many young men need to be very careful when e start to enter compulsion. It can be very addictive, it can mess with your head or affect your real-life relationships. But medically speaking? Nothing do your fertility.

I hear the argument. And honestly, as a soldier who has seen what the NDA produces and what happens when training standards slip I have serious concerns about decentralising our only joint services academy. Here is my take from the inside. The NDA is not just a school. It is a forge. Cadets from all 36 states and the FCT, from different ethnic and religious backgrounds, are thrown into the same pressure cooker. They live together, suffer together, and graduate together. That shared suffering builds something you cannot replicate in a satellite campus: trust. When I go to war, I need to know that the officer beside me whether he is Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba was forged in the same fire as me. Decentralisation risks creating "tribal" officers' messes, not a unified officer cadre. The argument about consistency is also real. Right now, every NDA graduate passes through the same instruction, the same drills, the same standards. If you spread that across multiple locations, you introduce variables. Different commandants. Different local influences. Different funding levels. Before you know it, the officer from "NDA North" is not the same as the officer from "NDA South." That is how a military starts to fracture. And let us talk about security. A single, heavily guarded academy in Kaduna is easier to protect than three or four smaller ones scattered across the country. Every new location becomes a new target for terrorists or bandits. We already struggle to protect our bases. Why multiply the problem? I am not saying expansion is always bad. If we need more officers, increase intake at the existing NDA. Build more accommodation. Hire more instructors. But keep the institution whole. THE NDA IS THE CRADLE OF OUR OFFICER CADRE. DO NOT CRACK THE CRADLE.
Sir Kay@Rise_Forge

Decentralising the Nigerian Defence Academy might sound like expansion but in reality, it risks weakening the very foundation that makes it effective. Military training is not just about classrooms and drills; it is about culture, cohesion, and a shared identity built in one environment. NDA’s strength lies in bringing cadets from every part of Nigeria into a single, controlled system where discipline, doctrine, and leadership are shaped uniformly. Fragmenting that system across multiple locations could create inconsistencies in standards, divided command structures, and diluted esprit de corps. Beyond that, the military thrives on centralised control, secrecy, and coordination. Splitting the Academy would complicate training oversight, increase operational costs, and introduce unnecessary vulnerabilities in an institution that must remain tightly structured. NDA is not just a school it is the cradle of Nigeria’s officer corps. And like any strong foundation, its power lies in being focused, unified, and uncompromised. That's my take.
