@CrimsonDesert_ Absolutely love the game so far! Thanks for doing what you do🙏
English

Fellow Greymanes,
It has been a little over 36 hours since launch, and we would like to start with a sincere thank you to everyone who has been playing Crimson Desert.
Since launch, we have been listening closely to your feedback and doing our best to make improvements to the game. In particular, we are aware of the discomfort many players have experienced with the controls, and we are currently preparing a patch to address this. We also want to apologize for not providing keyboard and mouse players with a satisfactory gameplay experience.
Please know we are taking your feedback seriously and working to improve your gameplay experience as quickly as possible.
If you encounter any other issues while playing, please refer to the notice below for information on how to submit a report: pearlabyss.info/crimsondesertr…
We’re following your experiences across issue reports, videos, livestreams, and community discussions. Every report and shared experience helps us make the game better, and we truly appreciate the time you take to share them with us.
We'll keep working to make your adventure in Pywel even more enjoyable, and thank you again for your continued support.

@JeremyPenter Skate Story and Crimson Desert, both are great
English

@JeremyPenter I love it so far. Definitely has a bit of a learning curve, but I like that about it. Feels complex and deep but rewarding and fun. Excited to play more, and that’s really what matters after all.
English

@BoomstickAlex Dude it gives you control over your character immediately. Feels like a statement of intent, and I’m here for it! 10/10 for that alone lol, but seriously, so far gives me KCD meets Dragon’s Dogma vibes. Complex and deep, but rewarding and fun.
English

@jiglag1988 @thomasmahler Agreed. Also I feel like this is a good metaphor for the kind of woman I want.
English

All we want is an adult themed open world Zelda/Elden Ring/RDR2/Skyrim/Witcher 3 mashup of kinds. Which this has all the makings to be. Even if it's not extremely polished at release. Also sounds like they plan on adding more to it.
If I get 7/10 of all of those, I'd be thrilled. No hand holding, open world, unlimited traversal, tough bosses, puzzles, decent side quests, lots of exploring and hidden things to find, side activities that aren't necessary but you can get lost in, etc.
Hope the next Star Wars is like that as well. Need a new KOTOR in the same vein.
English

It’s a bit disturbing to see how many players were insanely hyped for Crimson Desert until today and how quickly opinions have shifted now - hell, I think most people saw it as the potential new Elden Ring 😳
But now the reviews have come in and it sits on a 78 on Metacritic. And to most gamers, that means it’s pretty much a waste of time.
But then I listened to @ForceStrategy’s breakdown, a reviewer who’s usually spot on, and he had a ton of good things to say about it - as long as you come in with the right expectations.
It was honestly quite silly to expect the team that was in charge of BDO to build the next Elden Ring… but based on what Force was saying, I could easily see them still turning things around.
I think in general I love the games industry for of how passionate everyone is about games - but it also feels like games get overhyped so often that it’s becoming a bit ridiculous…
So… give them some time. There’s definitely something interesting going on with Pearl Abyss. For some reason, they know how to generate a ton of hype. I remember how insanely excited people were about DokeV when they showed a trailer at Gamescom a few years back.
So I’d say… chill and let’s see how they’re reacting to this feedback. Will definitely be interesting to follow! 👍

@PigeonGoGaming @MrStarfield22 I wasn’t a huge fan of the companions (and actually prefer fantasy), but overall I really enjoyed my 200 hours and have been playing since Morrowind. 🤷🏼♂️ Maybe it just didn’t resonate with you. When opinions are so divided, it’s usually just a matter of taste/perspective.
English

@MrStarfield22 Who in gods names said Starfield has the best main quest line Bethesda ever made?
No way have they played any other BGS title...
English

🗣️ Opinion: #Starfield is still pure, concentrated "mid" 🫠
So don't get your hopes "too high" my PlayStation bros 😅
Cons:
- Excessive loading screens.
- A lot of barren planets.
- Boring main story.
- Space travel mainly consists of selecting icons on a map & on screen (instead of actively "flying").
Pros:
- Great faction quests.
- In-depth, modular ship building.
- Best Bethesda gunplay.
🤔 Did you like Starfield more than me?

English

@LukeStephens In my experience, creatives are less cynical than consumers. There’s nothing wrong with being excited about possibilities and trying out new things. Ease up on the pearl-clutching everybody, and let’s just wait and see. 🤷🏼♂️
English

Seriously though, game studios can't be happy about this either... Right?... This literally turns every game it touches into a crappy AI face filter mess. We need to see studios come out against this crap

@tyminski_marek Unedited gameplay for sure. I don’t want to be sold a game, I just want to know what it is. The more cutscenes and quick-cuts there are, the more I feel like potentially weak gameplay is being hidden for marketing purposes.
English

@TacoLater @EugenePolice Yeah, kind of shocking reading that article. I did a double take on that last paragraph🤦♂️
English

@EugenePolice frightening innocent people with threats of a gun while holding a knife and acting insane in a 100 foot tree is not a threat… costing tax payers thousands in resources, tying up our 911 system and the police give up and leave. This state is retarded

It’s rare in life to know when a chapter is closing, but after 38 years at Microsoft, that moment has arrived for me. I’ve made the decision to retire and begin the next chapter of my life. It’s a milestone that’s given me a chance to reflect on the incredible journey I’ve been fortunate enough to share with so many of you.
English

@SleepisforT I feel the same way. I almost feel silly getting slightly emotional, but it really does mean something to me. 👊
English

Crying at work rn, people really don't understand how much we care about these things 😭
Recent decisions have been hard on Xbox devs and community and I don't agree w some of them. But Phil has been wonderful, a gamer and visionary who wouldn't give up. He will be missed 🙏

While we cannot yet provide an estimate on when the issue will be addressed, we will share additional information as the situation develops. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused and ask for your understanding as we work to address the issue.

English

Hey @JezCorden any reports why some of us can’t launch Death Stranding on Xbox PC? “Error signing into Xbox Live” but other games work fine, and it works on my console. I actually own the game too, so that’s weird🤷🏼♂️
English

Users should once again be able to play games through Remote Play. Thanks for sticking with us while we addressed this issue.

@XboxSupport Error launching Death Stranding on PC. I own it, it worked previously and works on my console, and all other Game Pass games work for me as well on PC. Any ideas?
English

@fa1con87 @XboxSupport I also own the game, and it works on my console🤷🏼♂️ Strange.
English

@XboxSupport Why am I getting a signing in error when trying to play Death Stranding PC Gamepass. Other games play normally from the launcher.
