@cinemattie It's legit so good. And side note: it's just wild that Branagh directed it, bc he's so far up his own ass in the Poirot movies that he started *right after*

It's wild looking back at Branagh's Cinderella now because it's so colorful. It feels so removed from the current gray sludge look that's so prevalent in these things.

@nylsander I've long said he's the kind of hot that gets cast as a baseball player in a blockbuster film and when you interview him about it he's all "oh, I've never seen a game, aren't they, like, really long?" but instead he's a good player & we're so lucky to have him on our team

JUNGLE BOOK and CINDERELLA are the most common answers but I genuinely enjoy the 101 DALMATIANS film. Glenn Close is eating every scene she’s in and it’s glorious to watch.

@BadFilmTakes1 The miracle of those 4 (ILD good not amazing imo) Coen films constantly stuns me. The difference in tone & style. The uniformity of great writing. The fact that 3 made Best Picture and Burn After Reading couldn’t get arrested. Brilliant

@battymamzelle She's luminous in that film. Crazy that 1995 Best Actress is so deep that you could make an AMAZING category leaving out all 5 nominees and adding in Bening, Silverstone, Moore, Deply, Bassett (or JJL, but I haven't seen Georgia). But anyway, Bening is stunning in TAP
