To add to this: The notes used for Kefka's laugh are comprised of the "whole-tone scale", an entirely symmetrical sequence of notes with no clear "center". It's inherently chaotic.

For those that don’t know, I am one of the managers at my local movie theater. Lately I’ve been having a rough time and even considering leaving my job because of how stressful it’s been. But with the last few days of Mario, I have seen so many families and kids coming in, so excited to see this movie and just to be happy to be in a theater that it has literally rejuvenated my passion and brought joy back into my work.

I launched websites, I edited videos, etc. Relentless, optimistic creation. Every once in a while I feel this pang of bittersweet nostalgia for that era of myself. Anyone else ever do that? I'm not sure that person is still within me. I kinda miss that guy, y'know? *shrug*

Still salty at @LimitedRunGames for pulling Jurassic Park Games Collection a day earlier than they had originally mentioned. Made the decision to get the Switch version this morning and found out it was already delisted...

@The__Goomba Yeah, I definitely agree with those. And even though it wasn't $70, I would argue Fire Emblem: Three Houses could be on that list too. That game has massive replayability.

@The__Goomba Crazy to think that there has been an entire decade since Star Fox Zero, and then another decade before that since the last non-remake before it: Star Fox Command. 😱

My brain was all “I’m surprised they decided to make a new Star Fox so soon after Zero failed” Then look it up and what do you mean that game is a decade old already?💀

So Nate The Hate is saying an Ocarina Of Time Remake is coming later in the year. I am still skeptical about this and have a few thoughts. 1. First off whose making it, no way it can be the Zelda team they are preoccupied with the next Zelda? What team internally has the skill level to pull it off? 2. A remake as opposed to a remaster would take 4 to 5 years and youd have to fundamentally rethink every convention in the game and would require a crap ton of resources. 3. Surely this isnt their big holiday game if it does exist? or they release it in October. Ocarina Of Time is my third favourite game behind RE4 Remake and Super Metroid, I love it to death but let's be real no way can this go toe to toe with GTA 6, and if I have to pick one game during Xmas I am 1000% picking GTA 6 over a remake of Ocarina Of Time and I guarantee many others will too. My belief was always an updated version of Ocarina Of Time on 3DS was more plausible.

@SeANMcBAY @videogamedeals 100% agree on both. I'm disappointed Nintendo Land never got a follow-up; it'd make for an amazing achievements-based game too. And I still hold that Star Fox Zero is probably the second-best game in the series (after 64).

@TowersMilo @videogamedeals Still blows my mind that Dissidia isn't much bigger than it is. A Final Fantasy crossover game should do banger numbers on paper, but I think it speaks to the fact that the series isn't quite as popular (especially among younger fans) as it was in its golden years (1991-2006).

@kiwitalkz Why on Earth would you bother porting Starfield to Switch 2?

So Nate The Hate has said that the development of Starfield for Switch 2 hasn't been a smooth process (no surprise) my guess is the CPU is a huge bottleneck. If Switch 2 doesn't get Starfield and it gets internally cancelled, I can't see how GTA 6 comes to Switch 2 as it will be even more CPU intensive than Starfield. I've had a source say otherwise but I don't believe him at all lol.

Odyssey's Pauline being the mother doesn't make sense only due to Nintendo likely not wanting their main Mario characters to be in a marriage. But I totally buy the original Pauline (from Donkey Kong) being Bananza Pauline's grandma.
