@ZarataroVT Unfortunately the changes are affecting long term foreigners living in Japan, not the troublesome tourists/streamers. They’re increasing the costs by a lot and are making it much stricter for non-Japanese people to obtain permanent residency. The effects will hurt good people.

After months of getting tough paperwork, filling out forms, and making phone calls; I was finally able to submit my application for permanent residency in Japan! With the strict changes coming next year, it became scramble to get it done ASAP. But for now, celebratory pancakes!
