@BarredinDC Yea it’s true. Tried to by tickets last year and there was only ticket left at lower price but I wanted to get two. So I had to break it into two purchases and the other ticket was at a higher price. Tried to talk to an agent and they said there’s nothing they could do.

I saw once that Amtrak fares are not like plane tickets - like say an Amtrak train has 10 tickets, the first 2 tickets purchased are $20, second 5 are $50, and last 3 are $500. If the first 2 tickets are canceled then you can buy them again for $20. Is this actually true??
