The administrators of Sheffield 3 Ltd, the company created by Sheffield Wednesday owner Delboy Chansiri that acquired Hillsborough stadium, publish an interim report. Disappointing but not surprising that Chansiri has put in a claim for £53.3m owed to him (Mel Morris at Derby was owed about £200m but did not claim anything back). The other main creditors are loan from New Avenue Projects of about £7.3m and HMRC for unpaid taxes of about £1.5m. Aiming to sell stadium as a bundle with the football club, for which there will be a separate report in due course. Begbies have charged themselves out at an average hourly cost of £542 per hour, and estimate their total costs will be just over £300k.

Takeaways from Matt Ryan's introductory presser: Ryan is in charge and has Blank's full confidence. He will lead the HC and GM hiring process. Ryan will not interfere in the HC/GM duties. He's still figuring out what his day-to-day will look like, but won't be running the team.
