FKF National Division One Zone A – Rescheduled Match Report Al-azizia Football Club 1 @ssassadfc 1 Kinoru Stadium, Meru || Sunday, 13th April 2026 We, SS Assad FC, secured a valuable point on the road following a 1–1 draw against Al-Azizia in our rescheduled Round 19 fixture at Kinoru Stadium, Meru. The first half was a disciplined and closely contested encounter, with both sides cancelling each other out to go into the break level at 0–0. We came back stronger in the second half and deservedly took the lead through Mohamed Mbarapi, whose composed finish put us ahead. We maintained control for long periods and looked on course to claim maximum points. However, Al-Azizia managed to equalise late in the game, forcing a share of the spoils. While we would have preferred all three points, this result keeps our momentum alive as we continue our determined push to avoid relegation. We commend our players for their commitment and fighting spirit, appreciate the technical bench for their leadership and thank our management for their unwavering support.
