these LARPers do not care to engage with magic, they just hate seeing a diverse set of people represented on cards. silly has always been a part of Magic’s DNA. obviously the set about the wizard college isn’t trying to invoke the same feelings as the machine body horror set.

Five months after he was fired as a U.S. immigration judge, Jeremiah Johnson found himself rumbling into the highlands of Guatemala on a crowded bus, a bouquet of flowers in hand. His unusual, if poetic, mission: to visit relatives of an indigenous family who fled their village for the United States and won asylum in his courtroom. Johnson, 52, served nearly a decade as an immigration judge in San Francisco, in a famously liberal circuit, hearing hundreds of asylum cases. Day in, day out, he heard stories of political and religious persecution, torture, violence, rape. He granted asylum 89% of the time. That statistic, he believes, is likely one of the reasons the Trump administration targeted him and the San Francisco court in an effort to rid the system of alleged bias in favor of immigrants, and against the Department of Homeland Security. bit.ly/4eDryrM 📸: Photo courtesy of Jeremiah Johnson

🚨Top Democrat political consultant and campaign strategist, James Carville, just stated on the Left-wing ‘Policon’ podcast that when the Democrats regain power, they plan to: -Grant statehood to Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico, so that the Democrats can unlock 4 extra seats in the Senate. -Pack the U.S. Supreme Court from 9 Justices up to 13 Justices, adding another 4 Left-wing Justices to the court. -Reopen the U.S.-Mexico border and grant mass-amnesty to every single alien currently inside of the United States. -His advice to Democrat politicians: “Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.”

And there it is… Six years ago, the man accused of committing a heinous mass shooting that claimed the lives of eight children in Shreveport, Louisiana this morning, was given probation rather than a lengthy prison term for a shooting (per the @nypost). nypost.com/2026/04/19/us-…

.@SecDuffy: 53% of Commercial Driver's Licenses issued to foreigners in New York were issued illegally. We gave them FOUR MONTHS to comply with the law. They refused, so we had no choice but to pull funding — and if they still refuse, we can pull their ability to issue CDLs.

About a decade ago, crashes involving 18-wheelers began to spike on a 14-mile stretch of Interstate 10 in New Orleans. When insurance adjusters examined the roadway where the crashes were happening, there were no obvious hazards. Stranger still, the cars in the crashes were almost always full of passengers. The likelihood of all this happening in one contained geographic area was one in 750 trillion. In this week’s issue, Patrick Radden Keefe reports on a vast insurance fraud in New Orleans.
