The absolute ONLY way I could ever see this working, is with freight, and if every single person who traveled had the same exact specific metal box luggage compatible with every robot in every airport on earth, and even then humans are needed for so many day in and out activities that allow an airport to run.

@steveffinR @leamaric Dentistry isn't going to be replaced at all. I work in manufacturing. Automation is THE key in modern manufacturing. An arm with a tuned AI can easily do baggage handling. The problem is tuning. Considering what we have now... i'll take a torque limited arm over a dumbass anyday.

@steveffinR @leamaric It does, but of course there will always be some form of manual handling. However the ramp worker in the video is very much the exception. I worked at Heathrow for 36 years and never witnessed any like personal baggage handled like that.
