One of the best things about being retired is that I can just be alone. I don't have to interact with people. I don't have that awful churning in my stomach because I don't fit in. I'm lonely, but it's so much better than socialising.

@msjulianneregan I can see the strong resemblance! The care system is an uncoordinated group of smaller groups that don't seem to speak to each other. Keep at it, you'll get there. Check out Carers First, they're quite helpful. I'm in similar position

Don't Google yourself. I did & found a chatroom thread with folk complaining about my apparent 'extreme left-wing opinions' adding, more or less, that I should just shut up and sing. (I don't think it's extreme to want a functioning NHS, or heating for the elderly). #NHS
