One major issue with spending time on Twitter, is that it exposes you to a lot of edge cases. Road accidents, Flight engine failures, People dying randomly. Being exposed to these outliers Re-wires your brain to fear the usual. A normal road trip, a minor turbulence on a flight etc might scare you much more than an average passenger. Can’t afford a 3BHK in Gurgaon anymore even ₹2 crore doesn’t feel enough. 🏙️ House prices are too high, and rents are getting worse every year. Forget DLF, even areas like Manesar are becoming expensive. Tried renting too still very costly. They will then go home for a couple of weeks and return to their new home in America as legal permanent residences. Tourists and students will be impacted.

@AmexIndia Wrong billing address led to 393$ tax charges applied on the transaction. Amex support saying they can't cancel it . It's currently pending. Email sent to you, but need faster processing as merchant will process it soon and they have non refundable policy.

@gurumilespoints Yes it was amex and they say they cant reverse it. I messaged them immediately after payment but they said its approved from their end and pending now from merchant can only cancel it.

@sushantcloudx Same RBI ombudsman portal with proofs. As long as you have proofs and a written denial from bank to reverse, you can apply on ombudsman portal.

HSBC registered the complaint in 4 days after RBI ombudsman was raised. In 6 days, the 3000 points and 50% joining fees was granted. For service deficiency, I demanded 10k points. Initially bank tried to negotiate down to 5k points. I rejected it and it was raised to internal Ombudsman. Another 3-4 days and 10k points were approved. That’s 22k worth of Accor stays! Don’t let banks take you for a ride. Always demand what you are owed.
