Over 1 million people have joined Mastodon since October 27. Between that and those who returned to their old accounts, the number of active users has risen to over 1.6 million today, which, for context, is over 3 times what it was just about two weeks ago!

PHP 8.2.0 is targeted for release on November 24 2022. We are working on Textpattern 4.8.9 with initial support for PHP 8.2.0, along with functional & accessibility improvements to our gutsy CMS 💛. Progress & release info here: github.com/textpattern/te…

…and if you're thinking "we only hear from @textpattern when something breaks", there's perhaps some truth in that. We're working on support for the upcoming PHP 8.2, and the upcoming Textpattern 4.9 will have some really cool stuff. When that's nearly ready, we'll tell you. 💛
