This is a known operational risk with Groth16. We chose universal SNARKs (Noir/UltraHonk) specifically to eliminate this failure mode — no circuit-specific ceremony means this entire class of vulnerability doesn't exist. Privacy infrastructure shouldn't require a pinky promise.
zkSecurity@zksecurityXYZ

The first two known exploits against live ZK circuits just happened, and they weren't subtle underconstrained bugs. They were Groth16 verifiers deployed without completing the trusted setup ceremony. One was white-hat rescued for ~$1.5M, the other drained for 5 ETH. 🧵

Coinbase just announced Agentic Wallets. They pitch it as autonomous, self-custody infrastructure for your agents. But if you look under the hood, it is a managed, highly surveilled enterprise product. Every transaction passes through Coinbase’s KYT system before execution. It screens against risk databases, assigns scores, blocks interactions, and maintains persistent audit records, powered by analytics capabilities that trace back to the Neutrino acquisition and its Hacking Team lineage. Keys live in AWS Nitro Enclaves. They call it self-custody, but Coinbase manages the enclave, the signing environment, and the key lifecycle. The isolation claim relies entirely on a hardware trust assertion in AWS, not cryptographic proof. The developer authenticates via scoped API credentials issued through Coinbase’s identity layer. Coinbase controls the infrastructure at every step. They also collect blockchain data, device fingerprints, and behavioral usage patterns, reserving the right to use anonymized transaction data, click-stream data, and fraud indicators for any business purpose. That is straight from their privacy policy. Because Coinbase operates the sole sequencer on Base, they see and order every transaction before chain inclusion. They reached Stage 1 Decentralization in mid-2025 via fault proofs, but the sequencer itself remains centralized and Coinbase-operated. Combined with their identity layer, pseudonymity is meaningless. They have the mapping at the infrastructure level. x402 payments route through Coinbase-operated facilitators, exposing the payer, payee, amount, timestamp, API endpoint, and consumed service. For an agent making hundreds of calls per session, that builds a complete, trackable behavioral fingerprint. Spending limits are enforced server-side. Every transaction is evaluated against policy rules before signing. This architecture necessarily creates a real-time log of everything your AI attempts to do, not just what it successfully executes. Not your keys, not your agent’s autonomy.

Introducing Agentic Wallets, our first ever wallet infrastructure built specifically for autonomous agents. Give your agent the power of a wallet. Let your agent manage funds, hold identity, and transact onchain without human intervention. 🧵

Today I’m sharing what we've been building. We think digital payments should work like cash - simple, private, and yours. That's what we built. This is just the beginning.

100 TPS of private payments is 8.5 million ZKP's, created on peoples devices in a day. Pretty cool that we'll be living in this soon

Ethereum is one of the largest grifts in crypto Most of the mass VC extractions happen in either Ethereum DeFi protocols or Ethereum layer2s Realizing this in 2026 is hilarious because it was very evident in 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022 etc.

@Blockstream @BitcoinNewsCom @blksresearch The paper states that owners of legacy UTXOs must migrate. You’re making it seem as if an auto migration will occur. What happens to legacy bitcoins sitting in dormant wallets?

@BitcoinNewsCom This is what @blksresearch crypto team has been focused on - post-quantum cryptography for Bitcoin. Hash-based signatures, SPHINCS+, migration paths that don't require freezing anyone's coins. The work is already underway.

If quantum-enabled hackers ever access Satoshi’s BTC, many in the community believe we should let the chips fall where they may. Freezing keys out of fear of quantum would be fundamentally un-Bitcoin.
The Daily Stack 🥞@DailyStackHQ

Someone will eventually brute-force Satoshi's keys. When those coins move, don't panic.⁣ ⁣ The moment we freeze anyone's Bitcoin - even Satoshi's - we become the very system we're trying to escape.⁣ ⁣ Private key = ownership. No exceptions. No compromises.⁣ ⁣ Powered by @RhinoBitcoin

@mert you can just use 1x and hold it as spot on these exchanges though. just trying to figure out what i'm missing. you're saying that bringing spot assets like zec, near, mon, gold, and stocks is more impressive than perp products?

so far we've brought ZEC, NEAR, MON, HYPE to Solana we've also brought stocks and gold we will continue to list thousands of assets — the idea is that anyone can spin up a competitor to robinhood by just using solana as your backend a million markets in your pocket
