@Mc5calpAfee @JKBTrades_ @nomadascalper I have a bot running 2, 5 and 6am. No discretion , just trading the setup. Started a week ago. Will share my result after end of this month.
English

@JKBTrades_ @nomadascalper With no filters or discretion that’s good. That’s if a bot traded that not bad
English

Using @nomadascalper indicator i tested the 5, 6 and 7am hours. I didn’t use any filters or bias. Just an entry at the optimal entry zone if midline hasn’t been hit yet and targeted 1.3r. 6 months into the year 56% win rate and 86.8r. It achieved no losing months or big drawdown.

English

@TheBank717 check the chart notations here for the 6am ET entry. Pls note the end of the range is usually the 6:55am 5min candle. Do not mix it up with the 7am 5 min candle because that candle is 5min into another range.

@PranavTelang_10 No discretion for my trades.
1. Because the backtest result did not involve any discretion and it was quite profitable.
2. I want a purely mechanical setup .
3. I want to have less screen time,so i created a bot to trade it(less rules since its mechanical).
English

@whyk008 Do you use any type of discretion on the setups?
English

@Rossmc_85 Benefit of a positive RR is 50% win rate still keeps you in profit
English

@Mc5calpAfee Nice one , How do you handle days when your first trade is a win? It is easy to trade more when your pnl is -Ve but a First trade win make me doubt the next setup.
English

@PranavTelang_10 I have a 30min time stop for the limit order set on my bot, so the trade was still valid for me. That is why i left my entry and the price spike filled me in.
English

@whyk008 That's right, once the initial 50% midline is met I remove my limit order, just as per my backtest
