@JulianHillMP With a 9 seat majority in the lower house, Whitlam changed the lives of all Australians for the better, your government with a 50 seat majority panders to the gambling lobby and does nothing to increase Centrelink benefits for the poor and disadvantaged...Whitlam would be ashamed

Thanks for the "free" McAfee install in Adobe Reader that will require me to reinstall Windows, @Adobe.
This is what I could see on my laptop prior to downloading (fullscreen, 100% zoom).
"Most trusted..."
I don't think so.

English

@Adobe, you know what doesn't engender trust? Not knowing that your 'free' adobe reader is installing other stuff on my PC that I do not want and is notorious for being problematic. Attached is what I saw in my maximised, 100% zoom browser window when downloading.

English

@Adobe, on what fucking planet do you think it's OK to install McAfee garbage on my laptop with the relevant info of what's 'included with your download' not even appearing in the browser (100% zoom)?

@ptv_official There's a bug in your new gates at Glenferrie. It let me through the gates when I tapped my Android phone but did not register the tap ('moved too fast' error), so I was not touched on. Luckily I double checked and sorted it out.

Despite the miserable Sixers season, no regrets paying for @PHLY_Sports to support having access to @_devongivens without the gymnastics previously involved in getting the post-game US radio feed here in Australia.

@jensuedaw They're the government. They can legislate a change to media ownership laws whenever they like, and limiting foreign ownership would be a simple, populist move. Just revert the laws to what they were previously.
English

The answer is obviously No. Labor lost a golden opportunity to hold a RC into Murdoch influence, truth in media laws. Australians continue to pay the price.

Should a foreign national like Rupert Murdoch wield such significant influence over Australian news? His alignment with ultra-conservative interests raises critical questions about media sovereignty and the integrity of our information landscape. Can we truly trust an outsider to shape our narratives? 🇦🇺📰 MediaSovereignty #Australia #NewsIntegrity

@NoemiTitarenco I'm commenting from the position that humans are already commoditised :)
English

@NoemiTitarenco Which isn't good if it can't take an ethical position. It will just reinforce existing patterns and problems.
English

@NoemiTitarenco I feel that the feeds people are getting served are quite different in and outside of the US (ie. I haven't needed to block much). But basically, Twitter was/is filtering out most of the people I follow who were posting to the degree it became pointless :-/

So in being too angry to pick up @NAB's calls after lodging my AFCA complaint, I missed out on their offer of $250 compensation. Oh well.

@xflibble I imagine this must be very frustrating and upsetting - If you change your mind and wish to chat about what has happened, please send through a DM ^RG
