In my experience, bartop arcade cabinets are impractical. People buy them, but they end up collecting dust due to inconvenience. Why play on a tiny control panel when their consoles and handhelds are more conventient to use? It's a glorified console that looks like an arcade cabinet, bought for nostalgia but destined for a corner or shelf IMO. I think this is coming out many years too late. This would have killed it in 2019 when the market was hot. However, people will buy maybe because it's a game lineup that hasn't been offered in the "home arcade" product space... time will tell I guess. The cart option is cool but again, why not just use their console or handheld?
