I was interviewing some ladies for a front desk role for a client. This was in the conference room, and I sat at the far end, so there was a wide space between me and the candidate. As I was asking one lady questions, she was visibly shaking. I told her to calm down and step outside if that would help her relax and answer questions well. Immediately she stood up, her trousers fell from her waist to her knees. Two of my colleagues I had earlier invited to join me opened the door at that same moment. They looked at me, and the lady was standing there, confused with just pants. I had to shout, “What’s going on here?” She said when she sat down, her trousers were too tight, so she unbuttoned them. She forgot when she stood up because she was tense. I have recruited over 700 staff, I have stories to tell.
