I genuinely think tribalism has become one of the easiest ways to distract and divide young Nigerians, and sadly, it's working. At a time when we're battling unemployment, inflation, insecurity, a struggling economy, poor healthcare, and an education system that's failing too many young people, we're still arguing over which tribe is richer, who invented gele, or who owns a particular delicacy. These are the issues that should be occupying our minds. The average young Nigerian, regardless of tribe, is facing many of the same challenges. Maybe it's time we focused more on what unites us than what divides us.

If you think that you can do without the Igbos in Nigeria, what I assure you is mutually-assured destruction. If the Igbos decide to do without other tribes in Nigeria, what I assure you is your self-assured destruction. Good night.
