Americans are feeling the pain from the RECKLESS Democrat shutdown of DHS.    In airports across the country, TSA officers are again being forced by the Democrats to work without pay—for the THIRD time in nearly six months.

And 60,000 TSA workers just received their first zero dollar paycheck because 46 Senate Democrats voted to keep the Department of Homeland Security closed. These are not abstractions. These are people with three kids and a wife depending on them to bring home a paycheck. Workers showing up anyway — for now — because they're professionals who take their jobs seriously. But more than 300 have already quit. Call-outs have more than doubled. Lines are backing up in Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta. Denver Airport is asking travelers to donate food and gas cards. Food pantries are opening at JFK and Seattle. Let that sink in. American airport workers are depending on food pantries because Democrats filibustered DHS funding during four Islamist attacks on American soil in two weeks. And it's getting uglier. The TSA is reporting a rise in assaults on officers — workers already under maximum stress, working without pay, now getting physically attacked by frustrated travelers. The Democrats who did this watched an ISIS supporter k*ll a decorated Army veteran at ODU. Watched a car bomb target a Michigan synagogue. Watched ISIS-inspired attackers throw IEDs outside Gracie Mansion. And voted to keep Homeland Security dark anyway. Now they're going to watch 60,000 working families miss rent, skip groceries, and line up at food pantries during spring break travel chaos — and call it principle. Pass DHS funding. Now.
