As I'm sure you could tell, I take pokemon pretty seriously. As well as playing to win, I've spent so much of my time looking at it as almost a "science"/area of study and working on theory of the game. Hence the walking videos were born! There are a lot of times when I'm either playing or teaching people, that I say "we would have to really crunch the numbers to know for certain which play is right", or, "We'd need a computer". Things like this have been around in games like chess since the 80s. It could present an opportunity to learn more about the game, prove our understanding, and also, beat up on some robots in the process.
