Were we too harsh on the Hobbit Trilogy?

However, that's not how it's used, and likely never was. A downvote effectively states "I disagree. I can't back it up, but I insist you're wrong". --- In addition to downvote moderation, subreddits have human moderators that decide what content is allowed and are known to purge any wrongthink. These moderators are the most militant Communists on Reddit. They take pride in silencing right-wing voices, banning users, and erasing posts. --- Reddit needs to be shut down; buying the website won't help. Even if all the human moderators were replaced, it's userbase is so thoroughly propagandized they'd simply abuse the downvote system into maintaining the biased status quo.

The left: The right are such snowflakes! Meanwhile the left: Safe spaces, trigger warnings, "that's problematic", sensitivity readers, "words are/silence is violence", microaggressions, cultural appropriation, cancel culture, preferred pronouns, misgendering, deplatforming, etc.
