Dear Trader
There’s a tough phase in every trader’s journey called the intermediate stage. You’re no longer a beginner, but you’re not yet consistently profitable. You’ve studied the technicals, done the work, and learned so much but still, the results aren’t showing.
This stage is mentally exhausting. The problem isn’t a lack of knowledge it’s you. This is where your discipline, mindset, and ability to face yourself are truly tested. Surviving this phase is tough, and it’s where 70% of traders quit.
To break through, you need to stop blaming outside factors and start asking yourself the hard questions:
Why do I break my own rules?
Why don’t I journal or review my trades?
Why am I still over risking?
Why do I hold trades to stop loss, but not to take profit?
You already know the answers. But accepting them and doing the work to change is the real challenge.
This journey is you vs you. Most traders don’t fail because they can’t trade or analyze market, they fail because they can’t change. They can’t evolve. They’re stuck fighting the same version of themselves over and over.
Remember: you chose this path. No one forced you. That means it’s on you to see it through. Stay committed. Stay disciplined. You can get there.
No shortcuts. No excuses. Just work. Change. And accept that change.
This stage is dangerous, not just financially, but mentally. Many traders give up here. Some fall into depression. Some run mads. Some spiral into debt, unable to repay borrowed funds. A few even end up in prison. 🥹 all because they chased success without preparing themselves for the cost of the journey.
Protect your mind. Stay grounded. Reach out when needed. Trading isn’t just about the market it’s about mastering yourself.
If you can survive this stage, you’ll come out not just as a better trader, but as a stronger person.
Keep going. Change yourself. You are good to go.
