False. Manfred actually doubled down, denying that the league discriminated against Christian players and saying they broke the rules but won't face consequences-- this time.
What he really admitted is that league rules are not content-neutral.
MLB "does not permit Clubs or players to utilize special uniforms/equipment" for clubs' "faith/religious-related games" or allow under any circumstances for Bible verses to be written on uniforms.
Meanwhile, an exception to the league's rules against special uniforms was made, allowing the Dodgers and Giants to wear special uniforms for pride-themed games to show "appreciation and support" for the LGBTQ community.
The content-based policy clearly favors the secular political cause of LGBTQ pride while barring any faith-based alterations to uniforms.

In regard to the MLB's claim that that their policy to not allow a player to "write, attach, affix, embroider, or otherwise display nicknames or messages on apparel or playing equipment...is enforced without regard to the substance of the messaging"--this is NOT true.
In 2020, MLB specifically allowed players to alter their uniforms on behalf of a HIGHLY contentious social issue with Black Lives Matter.
They allowed players to add BLM patches to their uniforms and write BLM messages on their cleats.
This is clearly viewpoint discrimination and unequal accommodation.
