Important Playground update.
The market reacted, and we are adapting.
Playground was created to give people free access to build apps, experiment with ideas, and eventually access capital through real usage.
But we’ve also seen the downside: some people launch tokens around their apps, extract attention, then disappear.
We don’t want Playground to become a source of toxicity in the Base ecosystem. That was never the mission.
So for now, we are pausing all tokenization inside Playground.
We will also stop supporting, promoting, or engaging with tokenized Playground apps during this phase.
Playground will continue as an open vibecoding tool for builders.
The focus now shifts back to the core Gitlawb vision: decentralized Gitlawb nodes.
Every app built in Playground should eventually have its source synced to Gitlawb nodes, making the ecosystem more open, resilient, and builder-owned.
Less speculation.
More building.
More infrastructure.
More open-source apps.
The market reacts. We adapt.
Gitlawb is not slowing down. We are cleaning up the noise and building the foundation for something much bigger.
