Told my 11 year old about the ban on the walk to school. Some Kevin grumbles then accepted that actually it's the right thing to happen. So parents and kids know it's needed but the creepers on here are dead against it, makes sense.

Very good news. I fully support this ban. It’s much needed action to protect our kids and give them their childhood back. My survey of constituents showed clear backing for a ban. We must work at pace to implement this and ensure proper enforcement.

Whilst the social media ban is well-intentioned, it’s unlikely to work given the mass adoption of VPNs. It will also mean the introduction of Digital ID via the back door. The real answer here is handsets for children with limited features.
