Lol, the most you can afford is 870K assuming ur a single person and have 250K which is 98th percentile which is still dumb to get a mortgage at that income because ur paying interest on a home that will get a big chunk of ur salary as property tax. Cut ur losses and buy 500k

It's all housing. I make 98th percentile income and buying a nice home in a nice neighborhood was financially stressful even for me. It shouldn't cost a million dollars to buy a house in the fourth best neighborhood in a second-tier city
