A family of three was killed in their car on the Nabatieh–Khardali road in southern Lebanon, according to the National News Agency. The family comes from the Maronite Christian town of Qlayaa in the Marjeyoun district, an area close to the Israeli border that has been heavily affected by ongoing conflict involving Hezbollah. Local authorities in Qlayaa condemned the strike, calling it a violation of international norms and warning that civilian roads in the south have become increasingly dangerous amid escalating violence. The municipality also reported growing hardship due to disrupted access, insecurity, and repeated strikes in residential areas. The incident adds to rising civilian casualties in southern Lebanon, where border tensions continue to intensify and daily life remains increasingly precarious.
