International Women’s Day, a day my life took a complete U-turn. On this day in 2012, I went into hiding for simply writing a New Narratives story, published on the front page cover of Front Page Africa Newspaper about female circumcision, as part of my journalistic duties.

They will keep removing FGM from the Domestic violence law.
