nobody will be confused if you say voiture instead of char, faire du shopping instead of magaziner, or épicerie instead of dépanneur. there's a myth that québecers are hostile with people whose french is imperfect but my experience is the opposite - they are very encouraging!

@nxd1979 Also if you speak any standard French in Quebec, they will definitely understand you even if you don't sound Québécois lol

Everything about official bilingualism in Canada is built on myth. People can’t “just learn” a language they don’t need. Canada isn’t “built on” two equally-sized language groups. Bilingualism isn’t “necessary” to function at an elite level. It’s all just Laurentian folklore.

@Azert__ @ZHerkoo @Tdogeillionaire @olivehoodies Hyper X was bought out (I think by HP) and their stuff is not the same quality it used to be. Had some Cloud 2's that lasted me 4 years, then bought new ones (after the acquisition) and they didn't last a year. Sad stuff.
