@disc_connected As the films producer & director, I confirm there is 1 point that uses AI - to suggest it's riddled with it is poor journalism. All main fx are practical made using the same techniques as the original films. Theres an alternative version on the disc that doesnt contain AI at all.

Just an FYI to everyone, I had someone comment that this documentary was riddled with AI. I went and did some research.
Hammer lists the studio behind this documentary as "Deep Fusion Films in Association with Hammer Films".

I have not seen this documentary, but I was told by someone who has that Peter Cushing is deepfaked in the documentary itself.

@Mammon92343631 @hammerfilms @craigdouglas_ I felt it was best to focus on a few people and do it well than try to cover everyone and do it badly. You may feel I did a few people badly and that is your right to feel that way. But I was constrained to 90 minutes and did the best I could. 👍

This #Hammer documentary on Sky Arts - pretty good so far but they could do with making the captions a bit bigger - I keep having to lean forward to see who the interviewees are!

@Wyfan2 Ah, sorry - it's the Hammer Red and the Hammer Font. We scaled it all to the biggest size we could without it staying to overlap the archive video content in the either the TV or cinema screen graphics. There was a balance to be struck, sorry it made it tricky for you.

On consideration I think part of the problem with the captions in the #Hammer: Heroes Legends Monsters documentary was the decorative red font they were written in, which defied my varifocals .

@MartyRossWriter I can only go with what people tell me - there's no agenda here, I only watched my first Hammer Film in October last year. All the books and all the interviews pointed in the direction the do went in. I agree that looking at those films from the 70's now some of them are...
