@southrunner24 The railcard will be the issue, as these discounts don't stack. Please remove this and try the booking again - Steve

@GWRHelp I've done that. It's now telling me that my codes aren't applicable for the given search criteria?

@GWRHelp I've just signed up for GWR rewards and trying to redeem the 40% off. There's a pin and voucher number I need to enter. I've copied and pasted both and neither of them are being accepted?

Sorry to hear that you're having issues with the GWR Rewards system. Please answer the following so we can assist further: - Have you waited 24 hours after receiving your welcome email before trying to use the code? - Are you logging in with the correct email address that is registered to GWR Rewards? - Are you booking two Advance Single tickets that make up a return journey under the same booking? - Are you booking GWR services only, between two GWR calling points? - Are you applying a railcard to your booking? - Steve

@GWRHelp Hi. I’m planning to travel from Penzance to St Austell today at around 20:00. Please can you tell me what time trains there are for this route? Thanks.

Pins should be in your account (gwr.com/myaccount/rewa…) and you will need to copy the pin from here and enter it into the box. Promo codes are to be added at the ‘Search’ portion of their booking, so when you input the journey details there is a small ‘have a promo code’ prompt at the bottom left hand side where you will click to enter their code and pin (NOT the evoucher box on checkout) - Steve

@GWRHelp It says on your FAQ to add my code in the promo code box when ordering tickets. There isn't one anywhere?

Many train tickets are flexible, allowing customers greater choice. This does mean, however, that some services can become unexpectedly busy. We do all we can to ensure the busiest known services have a greater capacity and we use all available carriages where possible. We highly recommend that seats be reserved before your journey. I will relay your feedback to the team - Steve

Why don’t @gwrsupport_ declassify trains when they are packed. I am currently on a train from London to Charlbury with too few coaches, everyone is standing like we are on the tube, I am dying for the loo but the one nearest to me is out of order and I can’t get to the next one as it’s too busy. Passengers sitting on the floor in the aisles it is chaos.

@GWRHelp terrible no seat service, sold tickets in advance and run 5 carriages not more. People stood in toilets, disabled areas and my reserved seat was taken, can't take it due to a software issue!! The worst train company. £96 to stand for two hours no care for disabled

@GWRHelp Just boarded the 14.31 from Newport to Paddington to find it very crowded, standing throughout the carriages’ aisles. Our seat bookings unusable today due to your software problem. No mention at the station, or suggestion we catch the earlier train. Any info here?

I see, thank you. Many train tickets are flexible, allowing customers greater choice. This does mean, however, that some services are susceptible to an increased number of passengers than usual, especially during bank holiday weekends. We do all we can to ensure the busiest known services have a greater capacity and we use all available carriages where possible. I would hope that spaces may become available as you draw closer to your destination. If you let me know which service you are travelling on, I can try speaking to the train manager to see if some carriages are quieter than others and get them to inform customers if this is the case. - Noah
